Heck, even a digital version on PS4 would suffice with a basic remaster treatment. I don't usually fall into a mindset of remake everything but I would love to see this game get a remake or a true sequel. This game is AWESOME and often overlooked. Every race is a combination of getting to the finish line first while scoring tons of points, performing tricks and bashing your opponents out of the way. There is combat in this game and you perform tricks and stunts, as well. There are also powerups you pick up along the way that increase speed, points, energy, combat ability, etc.
These are HUGE mountains you are hurtling down at ridiculous speeds. The courses happen in forests, snowy peaks, towns, underground tunnels, etc. Despite that, each race lasts for a long time and over varied topography. They're all downhill, obviously, and are only one lap due to that fact. What I remember most about this game is the insanity of the courses. An eclectic cast of characters, courses, and music lead the charge in this prime example of the era of extreme sports games.
